Dr. Michael Z. Caposole, DO, MBS, DABOM and his staff will assist you during the recovery process, ensuring a smooth transition to your new, healthier lifestyle. We strive to make our patients feel comfortable and at ease. In post-operative care, patient's may experience mild pain or discomfort; pain management (medication) is provided as needed. Once stable, you will be transferred to a hospital room or discharged if it’s an outpatient procedure. For more complex surgeries (e.g., bowel resections, gastric bypass), patients may stay in the hospital for a few days. Dr. Michael Z. Caposole, DO, MBS, DABOM and his staff will monitor your recovery, manage pain, and check wound healing.
